After completing our rigorous course requirements, one can earn either a Bachelor's Degree, Associates' Degree or certificate. With the added benefit of general education coursework, our students take specific courses in working towards a degree in: Network Administration, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Engineering Management.
Students must take part and study from a core curriculum on top of their degree-specific classes. The core courses give the students a basic knowledge in computer training and workplace readiness. No one graduates from Missouri Tech without the knowledge and understanding to put apply their education for professional use. We measure our success only by our student's success.
Learning comes naturally when it's done in the fun and stimulating environment here at Missouri Tech. Our school offers a 12-1 student to teacher ratio to give our students any personal attention that they may need. The program's flexible schedule of classes enables a student to attend both full and part-time, day and night classes and allows them to customize his education and maintain their own lifestyle.
Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSEE):
This program develops students' academic, social and technical skills to prepare them for careers in engineering, engineering management or other technical fields. Upon graduation, students will hold a degree in Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering.
Program graduates will be ready to land jobs in entry-level employment as practicing engineers. Examples of the technical fields students may find employment in include: electronics manufacturing, robotics, communications, biomedical electronics, and consumer electronics.
Requirements:
Anyone who has earned Missouri Tech’s Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering degree, or the equivalent, is qualified to apply.
Course Length:
The program spans eight semesters over two years, each semester including two terms of eight weeks each. In only 32 months of study--less than three short years-- you could be well on your way to entering a growing and highly competitive workforce with the education you've received. A student must have a minimum of 66.0 credit hours added to the hours needed to complete the associate's degree. This means that you will have completed a total of 133.0 hours. The four-year program requires about 465 hours lab time and 1762.5 hours theory time.
