Electrical Technology: Certificate

The Electrical Technology Certificate program primes students for entry-level/ apprentice positions as residential, commercial or industrial electricians. Once you have graduated from the program you will be able to apply the skills and technical know how you have learned to install, operate, maintain, and repair electric equipment and systems like residential, commercial, and industrial electric-power wiring, controls, and electrical distribution panels. Instruction will consist of the principles of electrical and electronic systems, wiring, conduit and raceways, power transmission, safety, electrical testing and inspection, and applicable codes and standards.
